1. I'm going to hire out the window cleaning this spring - it takes too much time (and I'm a little short of time this year) and no one is interested in helping.
2. Instead, I would like to spend some extra time in the kitchen - if I can get someone to help pull out the fridge and cooker so I can clean "back behind" them. This hasn't been done since we moved in, so it could be a little scary.
3. After my big clothing purge a few weeks ago, I'm actually caught up on laundry and feel a lot happier about my wardrobe situation. I only bought one new item this season, but having space in the closet to see what I actually do have (instead of a closet stuffed with a lot of clothes I never wear) has been very enlightening.
4. I'm reading the "The Nightingale" by Kristin Hannah right now, about two sisters surviving WWII in France, and it does make me feel a little guilty about discarding clothing and stale food. It is a great story but very sad ... as Sherman said, "War is Hell".
5. None of the daffodils I planted in the fall have come up. Not even one!
